WHAT WE TEACH AND BELIEVE

1. The Holy Bible is God’s Word

1. The Holy Bible is God’s Word

1. The Holy Bible is God’s Word

The 66 Books were given to man by The Holy Spirit.  (2 Peter 1:20-21)

We believe and teach the Word is inerrant, infallible, and God’s breathed (2 Timothy 3: 16)

2. God

1. The Holy Bible is God’s Word

1. The Holy Bible is God’s Word

We believe and teach there is ONE God.

Isaiah 45:5-7

We believe and teach God is a triune  (3-in-1)

Matthew 28:19-20

3. Salvation

1. The Holy Bible is God’s Word

4. Security in Salvation

We believe and teach salvation is only by God’s Grace, in the sacrifice of His only Son Jesus Christ, whom on a cross shed His blood for all man to whom God will draw to Himself. (John 6:44)

Salvation is not based on works or human merit

1 Peter 1:18-19

Ephesians 1:7

4. Security in Salvation

4. Security in Salvation

4. Security in Salvation

Once saved as a born again believer, we are secure in our salvation because God is able by His power to keep us in our Lord and Savior forever.

Hebrews 7: 25

Romans 5:9-10

John 5: 24

Ephesians 4:30

1 Peter 1:5

Jude 24

5. Lordship of Christ

4. Security in Salvation

5. Lordship of Christ

Jesus is Lord over all. He is Lord meaning: Ruler, Master, and Controller over the life and soul of every true believer.

Jesus must be Lord over your entire life and soul or He cannot be Savior.

1 Corinthians 2:9

2 Peter 3:18

6. Baptism

4. Security in Salvation

5. Lordship of Christ

God draws all men to Himself. They hear the Gospel message, believe, and are saved.

Matthew 28:18-20  - we are called to make disciples of all nations and they are baptized:

Acts 2: 38

-Peter was obeying Christ’s command (in Matthew 28:18-20) because they heard the Gospel message about Christ's sacrifice on the cross for sin. They were cut to the heart and asked Peter what shall we do?

Peter’s reply: Repent and be baptized because of the forgiveness of your sins.

The people who repented and turned to the Lord because of the forgiveness of their sins, now have salvation and are to identify what God had done spiritually and shown in baptism.

Baptism is an indication of belonging to Christ as a public confession of what God had done spiritually when they had believed the Gospel Message.

Romans 1:16

2 Thessalonians 2:13

Titus 3:5

Romans 6:3-6
